Ringwood Ballet Group's annual production

The annual production occurs in early to mid December at Karralyka Theatre, Mines Road, Ringwood. The production includes a junior ballet, senior ballet, community charity performance and performance of jazz, tap, and contemporary dance.

2025 Production: Coppélia

Ringwood Ballet is delighted to announce that our 2025 ballet will be the much loved classical ballet Coppélia. A charming tale of mischief, magic, and mistaken identity, Coppélia is a light hearted ballet set in a lively European village. It tells the story of Swanilda and Franz, a young couple whose relationship is tested when Franz becomes enchanted by a mysterious girl in a window, who turns out to be a life sized doll created by the eccentric Dr. Coppélius.

Performed with a beautiful score by Léo Delibes, Coppélia has captivated audiences for generations. We can’t wait to bring this enchanting classic to the stage in 2025.

Annual Community Charity Performance

Each year, Ringwood Ballet Group proudly presents its annual charity ballet performance at the beautiful Karralyka Theatre, showcasing the exceptional talent, artistry, and dedication of our senior ballet dancers.

This free community event is more than just a performance, it is an opportunity to share the joy of ballet with members of our community who may not otherwise have the chance to attend live theatre. Complimentary tickets are offered to local senior citizen groups, aged care communities, and charitable organisations, ensuring that the magic of dance can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.

Guests are welcomed with a complimentary goody bag and the feedback we receive each year is truly heartwarming. Audience members regularly tell us how much they value the experience, describing the performance as inspiring, uplifting, and a memorable highlight of their year.

Through this annual event, Ringwood Ballet Group celebrates both artistic excellence and community connection, sharing the beauty of ballet while creating meaningful and lasting experiences for those who attend.
