Fees for 2010
Ringwood Ballet Group has been rapidly growing over recent years, and due to the many students attending multiple classes, our simplified fee structure introduced in 2005 proved successful and will continue. Fees are charged four times a year following the Victorian school terms and are payable in advance at the start of each term, without exception. Outlined below is the invoicing and fee schedule.
>> For full details see the Fees Policy
>> 2010 Fees Schedule
Term 1 - Invoiced and payable upon enrolment
Term 2 - Invoiced in week 6 of term 1 and payable by end of term 1
Term 3 - Invoiced in week 6 of term 2 and payable by end of term 2
Term 4 - Invoiced in week 6 of term 3 and payable by end of term 3
*Other charges, e.g. exam levies will be charged separately from term fees.
Because we are a community members' school that is run on a non-profit basis, we do not seek to raise revenue as such, but aim to allow for a fair rate so there is a benefit to all families especially when their children are in the senior school and enrolled in multiple classes.
All fees quoted are GST inclusive.
Class Fees Per Term

Fee Packages
To encourage the students to study all the offered dance styles, we offer the following packages:
Junior School (Kinder - Grade 5): 4 or more classes a week - $330.00 per term
Senior School (Grade 6 upwards): 5 or more classes a week - $400.00 per term
Family Package where two or more children study multiple styles will not exceed $660.00 per term. They are capped at this amount.
Administration Fees
$10.00 per family per term
This fee has had to be introduced to cover the cost of a paid bookkeeper to administer the financial running of the school. Unfortunately, in recent times, it has proved impossible for a volunteer to undertake such a large complex job.

Paying your Account
We now have facilities for payment of fees by credit card and EFTPOS (Visa or Mastercard only). Please note a 1% surcharge for credit card and $0.25 surcharge for EFTPOS will be added to your fees to cover the costs when using the facility - this is an unavoidable aspect to the service and convenience. Also for those who love their Internet Banking, all invoices will include the Ringwood Ballet Group's bank account details so that fees can be transferred direct into the bank account eliminating the need for cash and cheques. You can continue to pay fees at the studio by cheque, but cash will only be accepted when paid at the studio when a Committee member is on duty so a receipt can be issued immediately - but exact cash must be paid as we cannot provide change.
Please note that when paying by Direct Deposit we still require the bottom part of the invoice with the date the deposit was made so the payments can be reconciled. Please also ensure that your surname and invoice number is included in the details section of your deposit transaction so it appears on our bank statement. This will avoid unnecessary and embarrassing follow-ups to "unpaid" accounts.
If you have any queries regarding payment of fees, please feel free to speak to a Committee member in person or by phone. Please do not approach the teachers or our Artistic Director, Rosemary Frost, in regard to any of these issues as they are not responsible for the Ballet Group's financial matters. Financial matters are dealt with by the Committee of Management therefore any queries must be referred to a Committee member.
Enrolments during Term
If a new student enrols during a term or an existing student wishes to take up a new class during the term, the fee will be calculated on the additional class fee, pro-rata, on the basis of a 10 week term.
No new enrolments will be taken after week 3 of Term 3, except with the express approval of the Artistic Director where the student is able to enrol into a technique class. No students will be taken into classes that become concert classes. |
