2005 Awards

Congratulations to the following students who received awards at the annual Presentation Evening on Saturday, 3rd September 2005.

These awards were presented to students who have shown a huge improvement in their attitude - technique - team work and approach to teachers and fellow students -

1. Briony Pearson - Junior encouragement award
2. Shannyn Polderman - Middle school encouragement award
3. Jessica Hutchinson - Senior encouragement award
   

These awards are given to students for high achievement in examination and performance as well as dedication and excellent approach to correction and to fellow students and staff -

1. Madeleine Magetti - Dance Achievement Award of $200 towards fees: for success in multiple styles
2. Matilda Edwards - Pam Lang Award - junior classical scholarship worth one terms fee
3. Elyce MacDonald - Fay Fairfull Award: senior classical scholarship worth 2 terms fees
   

Congratulations also to the Grundy Family for receiving the inaugural Family Scholarship - worth 2 terms fees to the amount of a family package. Not only have both girls been high achievers over more than 15 years with the ballet school but also Mum, Clare has supported the school for many years as a committee member and for 3 years as our President. Dad, John, has been a scenery team member and along with son Stephen has worked wonders backstage as part of the crew and part of the design team for sets. The whole family has made a huge and lasting contribution to the wellbeing and future of the school.
